I want to share God’s message of hope with you. This Hope is found only in a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ!
God’s plan of salvation:
Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve.” (I Corinthians 15:1-5 NKJV);
Our need for salvation:
“As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one; There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God. They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one....for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” (Romans 3:10-12, 23 NKJV); “Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:14-15 NKJV); “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23 NKJV).
God’s way of salvation:
“Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”(Mark 1:14-15 NKJV)
Repent: ““Therefore say to the house of Israel, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Repent, turn away from your idols, and turn your faces away from all your abominations.” (Ezekiel 14:6 NKJV); “For they themselves declare concerning us what manner of entry we had to you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God,” (I Thessalonians 1:9 NKJV)
Believe on Jesus Christ: that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”(Romans 10:9-13 NKJV); And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:14-18 NKJV)
“Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.”—Jesus (John 8:24 NKJV);
God provides salvation out of love for you:
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.”(Romans 5:8-10 NKJV);
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJV);
How to receive God’s gift of salvation through Jesus:
“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:” (John 1:12 NKJV);
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.”—Jesus (Revelation 3:20 NKJV);
“And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.”(I John 5:11-13 NKJV); “For whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”(Romans 10:13)
Summary: Salvation is in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. In faith believing in and receiving the truth of Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection for your sin. By faith repenting of sin, and receiving Him as your Savior and Lord. “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6 NKJV).
